How the OU Outreach Data Analytics Bootcamp Works

The OU Outreach Data Analytics Bootcamp is designed for students to pursue high-quality tech education while continuing to balance work or other commitments. Our program provides you with the flexibility to fit career development into your life.

  • All bootcamp classes are instructor-led and taught 100% online.

  • Part-time and full-time bootcamp programs are available.

  • All classes are held Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

    • 6:30pm-9:30pm CT

  • All classes are held Monday-Friday.

    • 9:00am-4:00pm CT

In addition to classroom lessons, part-time students can anticipate spending 6-8 hours studying and working on outside assignments each week.

From there, students work on learning the skills they need to pass two industry certifications (Tableau Desktop Specialist and AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty) and finish the program with a culminating project.   • Yes, the University of Oklahoma Outreach Data Analytics Bootcamp is beginner-friendly. It’s specifically designed for professionals who have no previous experience in data analytics. While some background knowledge is helpful, the only expectation is that students have general computer literacy skills in basics like efficiently using the internet/cloud and Windows.

  • The admissions assessment for Data Analytics is a 60-minute, timed, logic-based exam that requires no preparation. However, if you’d like a refresher on logic-based questions, we’ve created this guide with tips for acing the assessment.
